COAL’S FEMALE LEADERSHIP

As a result of the historical disparity in the statistics between successful male and female writers, at the top of Coal’s leadership are women of proven intellectual pedigree.

This structure is more than symbolic with the desire for top leadership to encourage and ensure adequate participation of young women in the organisation’s various platforms. Therefore, Coal is underscoring the rising need to increase the number of women in all creative fields of literature in all of Africa.
